On 21st March 2012 MESiG is taking the M.E./Fibromyalgia awareness agenda direct to the front door of the Senydd in Cardiff Bay. And guess what……..they are making us welcome.
Julie Morgan the Assembly Member for Cardiff North has kindly invited us to a special meeting to highlight:
- The lack of a Consultant and facilities in Wales for people with M.E.
- To raise awareness of the condition
- To learn from people who live with M.E.
- To set up a Centre Of Excellence in Wales for M.E. To include a team of specialists in all areas of care including O.T’s, Physio’s, Psychologists and Pain Management Nurses led by a dedicated Consultant.
- Better training and knowledge for all G.P.’s which will lead to more effective testing
- Inpatient facility and an Outreach team for those who are housebound
